Testing task: Navigate forwards to a switch in the off state in reading mode

With JAWS in reading mode, describe how JAWS behaves when performing task "With the reading cursor on the 'Navigate forwards from here' link, navigate to the 'Notifications' switch."

Test instructions

  1. Restore default settings for JAWS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
  2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window and runs a script that sets focus on a link before the switch.
  3. Verify the Virtual Cursor is active by pressing Alt+Delete. If it is not, turn on the Virtual Cursor by pressing Insert+Z.
  4. With the reading cursor on the 'Navigate forwards from here' link, navigate to the 'Notifications' switch.
  5. Using the following commands, With the reading cursor on the 'Navigate forwards from here' link, navigate to the 'Notifications' switch.
