Testing task: Navigate out of a checkbox group

Describe how VoiceOver for macOS behaves when performing task "Navigate from a checkbox inside the checkbox group to an element outside the checkbox group. Test both navigating forward out of the end and backward out of the start."

Test instructions

1. Restore default settings for VoiceOver for macOS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
2. Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window
3. Toggle Quick Nav OFF by pressing the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys at the same time.
4. Navigate from a checkbox inside the checkbox group to an element outside the checkbox group. Test both navigating forward out of the end and backward out of the start.
5. Using the following commands, Navigate from a checkbox inside the checkbox group to an element outside the checkbox group. Test both navigating forward out of the end and backward out of the start.
   • Tab
   • Shift+Tab
   • Control+Option+Right
   • Ctrl+Option+Left

Success Criteria

To pass this test, VoiceOver for macOS needs to meet all the following assertions when each specified command is executed:

1. Role 'group' is conveyed
2. Group name 'Sandwich Condiments' is conveyed
3. The group boundary is conveyed
